3rd Robert Graves Society Annual Lecture & Roehampton Poetry Centre's new Robert Graves Poetry Prize

The 3rd Robert Graves Society Annual Lecture, 'Love, War and Wimbledon' will be given by Professor O'Prey, Vice Chancellor of the University of Roehampton, who is an expert on Robert Graves who knew and worked with the poet. It will take place in the Baillie Gifford Big Tentat the Wimbledon Bookfest, on Sunday, 15th October at 14:45 (2.45pm).

Tickets for the lecture cost £15.00, or £10.00 for paid-up members of the Robert Graves Society, and can be booked online by clicking on the box titled 'Book Now' at https://www.wimbledonbookfest.org/Events/2017Events/RobertGravesLecture.aspx. RGS members should also click here to request a promotional code which, when typed into the booking page at https://www.wimbledonbookfest.org/bookings/bookevent.aspx?instanceID=121347, will automatically entitle them to a reduced price of £10.00.

The Robert Graves Prize is launched this year as a new collaboration between Roehampton University"s Roehampton Poetry Centre, and Wimbledon Bookfest. In 2017 Prizes will be awarded on the occasion of the 3rd Robert Graves Society Annual Lecture, to be given by Professor Paul O"Prey, Vice-Chancellor, University of Roehampton, as part of the 2017 Wimbledon Bookfest programme.
The prize is named after one of the major figures of twentieth century poetry and encourages entries from all around the world. It will be given for the best single poem submitted: multiple entries are encouraged but will be judged separately.
