Hi all,
I was reading chapter 10 of Huysmans' The Cathedral today and wondered: has anyone ever made a comparison between The Cathedral and Graves' White Goddess? Huysmans advances the idea of a liturgical calendar of plant life similar to what Graves suggests in White Goddess. It seems like a fertile ground for study (no pun intended). Just off the top of my head I can't think of anyone who has made the comparison or any instances of Graves even mentioning Huysmans in any of his works. However, as I've often said, I'm not the expert here. If I'm not the first to suggest a comparison between Graves and Huysmans then can someone direct me to where such a comparison has already been made?
Thanks everyone;
