Gravesiana: the Journal of the Robert Graves Society was launched on the 5th of July 2006 at University College Northampton.

Henceforth, Gravesiana will be published annually. The journal is dedicated to publishing scholarly articles concerning Robert Graves and the members of his circle. We hope to publish timely reviews of the latest studies about Graves or Graves related material. We also will feature a biographical section in each issue which will highlight Graves' personal relationships with various literary personages as well as offering personal glimpses of the man behind the poetry, fiction, mythography, and criticism.

Further, as the journal is the literary publication of the Robert Graves Society, it will contain information concerning the two branches of the Society in America and Europe.

Gravesiana will also contain material about what individual members are doing, publish information about forthcoming conferences and lectures of interest to those engaged in Graves studies, and act as a clearing hourse for questions and topical discussion concerning all matters Gravesian.

The journal encourages submissions from everyone who reads its pages: the intention is to create a lively and intellectually challenging journal which in some degree reflects the protean spirit of the man to whom it is dedicated.
