St. John's College, Robert Graves Trust, Contact Information

TSt. John's College Robert Graves Trust was formed in 1994 and is registered as United Kingdom charity no. 1021452. The Trustees of the are the President of the College, the Senior Bursar, and the Senior Fellow of English are all members of St. John's College, where Graves studied and later was a Fellow when he was elected to the Chair of Poetry at Oxford.

The offices and institutional support for the St John's College Robert Graves Trust is provided thanks to the tremendous generosity of the Trustees of the St John's College Robert Graves Trust and St John's College, Oxford. None of the work to date would have been possible without their assistance and support. Much has also been made possible through the personal support and involvement of Robert Graves's Executor, William Graves, and other members of the Graves family. Professor Patrick Quinn was initially heavily involved during the early days of the Trust, as was Philip Hunter on a Leverhume grant, and finally Dr Ian Firla, who remains as webmaster. The members of the Robert Graves Society have also been of great assistance.

The Robert Graves working library and the Robert Graves letters and manuscripts archive was bequeathed to St. John's College Robert Graves Trust by Beryl Graves. These, together with other letters and manuscripts given to the Trust by other donors, are on permanent loan to the St John's College Library.
